OWNER & LEAD DESIGNER OF FINI & MARTIN

After eighteen years in the media, Heather received her design degree from the New York Institute for Art and Design. She further honed her skills as a senior designer for one of Washington DC’s top luxury design firms before launching her own design studio in 2018.

Heather’s unique design style is deeply rooted in her West Coast heritage and the legacy of her grandparents, Fini and Martin. Growing up in Los Angeles, Heather was profoundly influenced by the city’s aesthetic and her grandparents' Hollywood home, which seamlessly blended California casual with formal and eclectic elements. Their welcoming spirit and distinctive style significantly shaped her approach to design.

Heather believes successful design is not only about creativity and vision but also about listening and building trusting relationships.

    Alex plays a crucial role at Fini & Martin, bringing a wealth of expertise that extends well beyond creating impressive 3D models and detailed 2D plans. Her work allows Fini & Martin to push creative boundaries and visualize spaces in innovative ways.

    Through her detailed and insightful renderings, Alex provides clients with a clear and accurate view of their reimagined spaces, ensuring they fully understand the completed design.

    DESIGN ASSISTANT

    From creative to technical, Sarah assists in all design needs. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and has 15+ years of experience in residential and commercial design.

    Sarah values authenticity and transparency - resulting in a trusting rapport with clients and personable approach to all projects.

    KITCHEN & BATH DESIGNER

    Laura holds a degree in Interior Design from Virginia Tech and specializes in kitchen and bath design. Her keen eye and attention to detail make dream kitchens a reality for Fini & Martin clients.
